This work reflects on the existence chills, after parties, and ‘home par’ that have sprung up around the world, exploring the idea that hedonism has become a off ramp from the constant deluge of negative press and world news as well as the pessimistic economic outlook for much of the middle class. It’s a commentary about both the absurdity and humor of such scenes but also meeting it with compassion and understanding that at this time, everyone just wants to feel a little better, but also that there is a severe danger of getting lost too.
